Apple crumble

Last night I felt like having something sweet.I had a bucket of apples on my back porch from our trees,so I decided to make a crumble.
Turn oven on to 375.
Start with apples any kind you like and peel and chop in cubes.

To the apples add 1/2 cup of sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon about a tsp.

For the crumble topping in a seperate bowl add 1/2 cup flour,1/2 cup quick cooking oats,3/4 cup brown sugar, tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg.

To this add 1/4 cup of butter cold and cut in pieces and cut in.Sprinkle the topping over the top of the apples.

Bake for 45- 50 minutes, until hot and bubbling.

Serve with ice cream or whipping cream.
