Christmas fun!

Hello friends,Well I have to say we have had a wonderful Christmas season. We've been busy as anything, but it's been fun busy and not going to the hospital all the time busy.
Here are some of the highlights of the month.

A zoo party for the volunteers and staff.Where we played lots of games, went on scavenger hunts ate lots of delicious desserts and walked around looking at the zoolights.

We worked at the zoo a lot, being greeters, making stingray crafts with the kids and especially at the Santa dive.

We went to a firework show and a boat parade. It's always fun getting pizza before and grabbing some bulk candy to take to the fireworks.

We hung out with friends watching movies, baking cookies and making gingerbread houses.
Eating out at a classic vintage diner.

Baking up a storm!

We did get hit with some nasty bugs, mainly being Bronchitis.
But we didn't let it spoil our fun.

We went to Christmas plays, ugly sweater parties and threw a tea party.

Daniel and Michael got some awesome white elephant gifts. Can't you tell how thrilled they are?

The lovely ladies from Northwest Baptist Church.

We went to church services when the bugs weren't too rampant and just spent some wonderful time with family & friends and having lots of wonderful food and fellowship.

Ariel & her friend Frances had fun decorating shirts.
Lots of yummy food!
Our sweet cousins came over to spend Christmas Eve with us.

Nicholas playing with ShiFu & Cody.
Nothing like hot chocolate on a cold night.
Daniel sporting his new Batman p.j.'s

I think my hubby has been watching this show too much.
He seems to be going for this look.If the bandanas come out, watch out

Then we enjoyed our traditional Christmas breakfast of eggs benedict and strawberry Belgian waffles made by Daniel this year.

We even got a white Christmas even though it was only for a little while, before it turned to rain  and Michael & Daniel played in the snow.

After that it was watching Christmas movies & dinner where we all took a moment to give our thanks for the greatest gift mankind has ever received in God's only begotten son Jesus Christ. Then we had a wonderful turkey dinner and played games. It was a very blessed day.
