Independence Day 2018

We always enjoy celebrating the Fourth of July.We are a very patriotic family proud of our country and of those men and women who have served.

I always like to change my decor for the seasons that's always a lot of fun.Even clothing.

We always start the Fourth with Daniel selling fireworks for The Key Peninsula Veterans. They have been such a wonderful supportive group and Daniel has been their top salesman for many years.
Our day started of watching a Jaws marathon.

After that we went to Galaxy theaters and watch Jurassic World at The Imax.

After the movie then it was home for barbecue ribs, corn, beans, cornbread and all the fixings.
Once darkness came we spent over an hour watching a wonderful fireworks show.
                               It was a wonderful day.

Ariel's birthday.

On May 15th we celebrated Ariel's 24th birthday.Since the mess that happened after her last birthday we were really hoping to make it nice for her.She just wanted a casual party at home. Her auntie flew all the way here from California to celebrate it with her, which was so thoughtful.
The day started off with birthday donuts.Pink fairy sprinkle donuts and dirt and worms.
Ariel's theme this year was unicorns.I had given her many choices of places to go,but since she's been so ill it's been hard for her to go too far away from home.We are going to take her to the game farm to feed the zebra's and bison and goats, but thus far she's not been well enough to make the trip.
My little pony one of Ariel's favorites.

Ariel got to pick her meal which was KFC and movies to watch.
                                                Make A Wish!

More My little ponies and Lego sets from her big brother Nick serving in Oklahoma and from her auntie Berta.
More Penguins gear.Ariel loves everything Penguins.

After everything in the house we decided to go outside and try out our new fire pit by roasting some marshmallows and making S'mores.

Some like them a bit more toasty than others or just downright burnt. Not my preferred way to have them, lol!
Ariel had a very nice birthday. It was a great day and we had her aunt here for four days which Ariel just loved.
